SensAbility, the teaching clinic of Atlanta School of Massage & Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, offers skin care and makeup services provided by students as part of our training program for less.

Sometimes the environment can be harsh in Atlanta. Skin care services from SensAbility are designed to provide a refreshing, enjoyable and therapeutically beneficial experience. All facials are customized using high quality professional products that contain botanicals and marine extracts. Products are chosen for you based on your skin analysis. All facials include cleansing, exfoliation, treatment mask and moisturizer. Each facial also includes a hand and arm massage. A complimentary makeup application to eyes and lips may be added to your treatment as well (request must be made at the time of appointment booking).

A deep pore cleansing and restoring facial using 100% natural and organic skin care products by Lotus Moon. Following analysis of your skin’s individual characteristics, it is cleansed, toned and exfoliated to enhance the effectiveness of extractions. Massage of your face, neck, shoulders and hands are included to invoke deep relaxation, concluding with an appropriate mask.

Micro Current delivers a variety of benefits to clients who wish to attain a healthier and younger looking appearance. The Micro Current facial is a unique anti-aging process that mirrors the body’s own natural electrical current in reeducating fine facial muscles. This alternative "facelift" treatment not only produces dramatic aesthetic results, but also boosts the overall health of the skin. This treatment will result in youthful, firm and vibrant skin. Results are best seen in a series of 6.

Vitamin “C” Facial	For all skin types but especially beneficial for ageing skin. The Hyaluronic Intensive serum stimulates collagen production and the growth of healthy cells, while providing a surge of antioxidant protection. The Vitamin C mask aids in protecting the tissues from cell damage and free radicals. Phytoalexins, which are found in red wine, help to protect the skin from oxidative stress and stimulate collagen production.
Sensitive Skin Facial	Designed to soothe and calm irritated or sensitive skin. Willow Herb Serum provides anti-irritant, natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. A peel off mask follows, containing algae, bilberry, essential oil of chamomile and vitamin C. Bilberry has a beneficial effect on capillaries due to its strong antioxidant properties. Flavonoids provide anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and anti-cancer activity.
Super Hydrating Facial	For dry and dehydrated skin. Hydrating Neroli Serum, high in gamma linoleic acid which is found in collagen, helps regulate activity of the capillaries, and restores vitality to the skin. An emollient Olive Oil Mask containing pro-vitamin A and E fatty acids which improve elasticity and act as anti-oxidants complete this treatment.
Purifying Mud Facial	For oily skin types. Blemish Control Gel provides oil-reduction, bacterial control, pore minimization, and skin strengthening. A marine mud mask that absorbs impurities and excess sebum complete the treatment. Containing trace elements of zinc and sulphur, it rebalances the skin and helps regulate excess oily secretions.

Collagen Fleece Facial

Designed for Mature, Sun-damaged, Irritated, Stressed, Tired and Dry skin types. This treatment provides a soothing blanket of deep hydration and an antioxidant cocktail your skin will never forget. The Acai Peptide Elixir infuses the skin with peptides to “trick” the skin into making more collagen, which is lost from all the free radicals we come in contact with daily.

LED Light Therapy

Reveal smoother, younger looking skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines, age spots and superficial scars with these advanced skin care treatments. A special high-powered hand piece passes a fine mist of crystals over the surface of the skin, exfoliating the skin and stimulating the production of collagen. Best results are achieved with a series of six treatments. Since some clients may be contraindicated for this treatment, we recommend that you receive a Signature Facial and consultation prior to booking your Microdermabrasion appointment. LED Light Therapy is included with Microdermabrasion treatments to accelerate healing.

Waxing Hair Removal

For your safety, please inform us of your state of health and use of medications. Facial waxing must occur prior to your Signature or European Facial if scheduled on the same day, and cannot be administered within 24 hours of a Microdermabrasion Facial. Facial waxing cannot be administered to any client using Retin-A, glycolic acids, Accutane or some antibiotics. Body hair must be at least ¼ inch in length for waxing. Body waxing cannot be administered within 24 hours of a full body Spa Body Treatment.

Important Points to Remember

Arrival
We know traffic is a challenge in Atlanta! Skin care appointments are scheduled back to back, so plan ahead to arrive on time. New clients should arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrivals will result in a shortened appointment in order to prevent delays for other clients.

Cancellations
Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours prior to your skin care appointment. You will be charged for your reserved appointment, if you fail to appear or cancel without proper notice.

For Your Comfort
Increase your intake of water before and after skin care treatments. Refrain from shaving in the 24 hours prior to receiving treatments. During all treatments, your body will be fully draped. Only the specific body area being treated will be exposed. Please leave valuables at home.

Special Needs
Each client is unique, so please let us know in advance if you have medical conditions such as allergies, heart conditions, diabetes, pregnancy, etc. This will allow us to personalize your services.

Courtesy Cues
Smoking, alcoholic beverages, food, and cellular phone use is prohibited. Childcare is not provided. As a courtesy to our other clients, please make prior arrangements.
