Skin care treatments include microdermabrasion, European facials and waxing hair removal. Makeup services include special occasion makeup, brow shaping, lash and brow tinting. SensAbility, the teaching clinic of Atlanta School of Massage & Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, offers skin care and makeup services provided by students as part of our training program for less.

Sometimes the environment can be harsh in Atlanta. Skin care services from SensAbility are designed to provide a refreshing, enjoyable and therapeutically beneficial experience. All facials are customized using high quality professional products that contain botanicals and marine extracts. Products are chosen for you based on your skin analysis. All facials include cleansing, exfoliation, treatment mask and moisturizer. Each facial also includes a hand and arm massage, or a mini foot reflexology treatment. A complimentary makeup application to eyes and lips may be added to your treatment as well (request must be made at the time of appointment booking).

Microdermabrasion

Reveal smoother, younger looking skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines, age spots and superficial scars with this advanced skin care treatment. A special high-powered hand piece passes a fine mist of crystals over the surface of the skin, exfoliating the skin and stimulating the production of collagen. Best results are achieved with a series of six treatments. Since some clients may be contraindicated for this treatment, we recommend that you receive a Basic Facial and consultation prior to booking your Microdermabrasion appointment.

Waxing Hair Removal

For your safety, please inform us of your state of health and use of medications. Facial waxing must occur prior to your Basic or European Facial if scheduled on the same day, and cannot be administered within 24 hours of a Microdermabrasion Facial. Facial waxing cannot be administered to any client using Retin-A, glycolic acids, Accutane or some antibiotics. Body hair must be at least ¼ inch in length for waxing. Body waxing cannot be administered within 24 hours of a full body Spa Body Treatment.

Important Points to Remember

Arrival
We know traffic is a challenge in Atlanta! Skin care appointments are scheduled back to back, so plan ahead to arrive on time. New clients should arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrivals will result in a shortened appointment in order to prevent delays for other clients.

Cancellations
Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours prior to your skin care appointment. You will be charged for your reserved appointment, if you fail to appear or cancel without proper notice.

For Your Comfort
Increase your intake of water before and after skin care treatments. Refrain from shaving in the 24 hours prior to receiving treatments. During all treatments, your body will be fully draped. Only the specific body area being treated will be exposed. Please leave valuables at home.

Special Needs
Each client is unique, so please let us know in advance if you have medical conditions such as allergies, heart conditions, diabetes, pregnancy, etc. This will allow us to personalize your services.

Courtesy Cues
Smoking, alcoholic beverages, food, and cellular phone use is prohibited. Childcare is not provided. As a courtesy to our other clients, please make prior arrangements.
